What a great screenshot! It's like a painting. Or one of the best National Geographic photos ever. Wes Anderson has a great eye for setups. One of my favorite things about Rushmore was how beautiful it looked. Not enough people talk about Anderson's visual flair.
I think I avoid talking about the composition of his film's when I talk about them because I'm afraid it'll lapse into slobbery fanboyness. I'd end up writing a whole piece using adjectives like "sumptuous" instead of getting analytical.
Shoot the Projectionist is Eddie Hardy. He used to sing in bands in Oakland; write record and movie reviews in New York; and host a podcast in Portland, where he still lives and writes.
